This industrial sewing guide is a compilation of duties, tasks, performance objectives, and performance guides that deals with the psychomotor aspect of an occupation. The guide addresses the three domains of learning: psychomotor, cognitive, and affective. Each unit provides job-relevant tasks, standards of performance, source of standard, conditions of performance, enabling objectives, resources, teaching activities, criterion-referenced questions and answers, a practical application, and a checklist for evaluating student performance. The following units are included: (1) organizing and planning; (2) directing and implementing; (3) inspecting and evaluating; (4) operating industrial sewing machines; and (5) maintaining equipment and work station.
