This document, one of more than 100 performance-based vocational teacher education modules, covers the following objectives as it prepares pre- and inservice teachers to place co-op students on the job: (1) after completing the required reading, demonstrate knowledge of the techniques and procedures for placing a student on the job; (2) given student data on three hypothetical students, tentatively match each student to appropriate training stations; (3) for a hypothetical co-op program in your service area, develop or revise a training agreement form that could be used in placing students on the job; and (4) based on the preservice or inservice training program in which you are now involved, develop a training plan for yourself. After an introduction, the document contains an explanatory section on the organization of the module, required and optional learning activities, information sheets, student self-check evaluation forms that cover learning activities, model answers for the forms, and a form on which the teacher's performance on the module's terminal objective ("While serving as a teacher-coordinator in an actual teaching situation, place co-op students on the job") is to be assessed.
