Considerable attention has been focused on research on students' conceptions of science. This bibliography is intended to be a comprehensive picture of what has been done concerning this topic. It contains about 1,500 references. The bibliography is divided into two parts. The first part includes articles before 1987. The references are organized into several sections: (1) general considerations; (2) everyday notions and scientific notions; (3) the development of notions; (4) language; (5) methods of investigation; (6) investigations of specific notions in physics, chemistry and biology; (7) research which took these notions into account; (8) investigations of teachers' notions; and (9) notions and teacher training. Of the subject areas, physics is best represented. This document is presented in German and English. (CW)
