This bibliography contains citations locating information about the future U.S. work force. Because of demographic, economic, and technological developments, significant changes are predicted in both the nature of work and the composition of the work force by the year 2000. Projections, viewpoints, and suggested responses to these changes from governmental agencies, from the business community, and from educators are included in the bibliography. Also included are citations addressing the role of the educational system--particularly vocational education--in meeting the challenges of preparing the future work force. Citations in the bibliography include administrative material, books, information analyses, journal articles, opinion papers, reports, and statistical material. Materials for inclusion in the bibliography were located through the Florida Educational Information Service by searches of computerized retrieval systems, specifically the ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database, ABI/INFORM business database, Government Printing Office Publications Reference File, and MANAGEMENT CONTENTS database on DIALOG.
