Survey of Administrative Service Operations at the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University.
Davis, George H.
The results of a survey on administrative services at Arizona's three universities are presented as one of the working papers in the final report of the Arizona Board of Regents' Task Force on Excellence, Efficiency and Competitiveness. This survey of faculty, staff, and student perceptions of the quality of service provided by selected academic and nonacademic operations included responses to 875 faculty/staff questionnaires and 524 student questionnaires. Results show that faculty and students at all three universities agreed that only 1 of the 25 administrative service operations is of very high importance (the library), and no operations were considered to be of low importance. It is specifically recommended that this same survey be implemented at 3-year intervals in order to track changes in quality through time. Appended are copies of the questionnaires. (SM)
