Task List Verification Techniques.

This booklet is intended to help curriculum development personnel select an appropriate task list verification technique. The first sections of the guide introduce the concept of verification of task lists, provide a rationale for it, and define various terms connected with verification. The following four sections describe and make a case for four types of verification techniques: structured group interviews, program advisory councils, worker surveys, and worker interviews. Information provided for each technique includes description and special features, use of the technique, guidelines for use, resources needed, and pros and cons of the technique. The final section contains a list of the members of the National Network for Curriculum Coordination in Vocational and Technical Education by region. (KC)
