The first of the three chapters of the portfolio discusses assessment and planning, evaluating interests and skills and thinking about types of careers. Chapter 2 concentrates on putting together a personal portfolio. It includes instructions for creating a work experience and work samples file, education and training records, and resumes. Samples are included. The final chapter contains information about writing a resume, applying for college admission and credit, beginning a job search, and interviewing.
