The materials are designed for secondary students and deal with rural economic development and the impact of current events on rural economics. The Teacher's Guide provides a glossary of terms and phrases describing circumstances and trends in rural community development. The Student Study Guide contains information, direction, and case studies on rural development. This document lists 20 characteristics of a successful community.
