This annotated bibliography serves as a resource for program administrators and staff developers to enable them to strengthen and develop systematic training programs for paraprofessional staff. "Training and Instructional Materials: Publications" lists approximately 30 items developed to prepare paraprofessional personnel to work in educational, vocational, and residential settings and other related community-based services for individuals with disabilities of all ages. "Training Materials: Audiovisuals" lists and describes approximately 40 films, videotapes, and sound synchronized slide/cassettes. "Technical Assistance and Related Resource Material" outlines approximately 40 items from professional journals, books, and doctoral dissertations on topics ranging from the impact of paraprofessionals on the quality of service delivery, to burnout, to career development/advancement, to personnel practices. For each entry, the title of the item is provided, followed by the author, date of publication, publisher's address, cost, and annotation. The final sections describe resource lists, bibliographies, product catalogs, journals, newsletters, and organizations. (JDD)
