Information concerning the following are included: objectives; participant eligibility; application form and fee; guidelines for project and judging; abstracts; typing; paper submission; oral presentations; poster sessions; symposium timeline and tentative schedule; and parental permission. The appendices contain: (1) an abstract form; (2) examples of student abstracts; (3) research paper evaluation form; (4) oral presentation evaluation form; (5) student application form; (6) outline for organization of papers and abstracts; and (7) guidelines on conducting research in the sciences.
