Concerns of prospective postsecondary students in Michigan are addressed with a focus on contact personnel, campus characteristics, admission requirements, program offerings, and application procedures for all of Michigan's colleges and universities. Following a foreword, the eight parts present information on: education and career planning; Michigan public junior and community colleges; Michigan public four-year colleges and universities; Michigan independent two-year and four-year colleges and universities; vocational school programs licensed by Michigan Department of Education (in-state and out-state); occupational programs licensed by other state agencies (aeronautics, barber, cosmetology, driving, and nursing schools); program cross-index (covering all schools listed); and financial aid (planning for educational expenses, summary of major programs, private community and institutional aid, glossary, questions and answers, and planning and conducting a financial aid information night). All schools within each category are listed and described with such detail as campus description and school admission information. (SM)
