This monograph is a summary of the ideas and thoughts from participants in a conference that honored and recognized the accomplishments of outstanding teachers and principals in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, and Puerto Rico. The primary focus of the conference was to highlight the importance of classroom teachers and school building administration in achieving high-quality education for all students.
