This document is the second volume of a two-volume set of reports on child support enforcement in the United States. Volume II contains a series of graphs and tables which present various financial, statistical, and program data of fiscal years (FY) 1981-1985. Graphs illustrate: (1) Child Support Enforcement Collections and Expenditures, 1981-1985; (2) distribution of Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) collections and total expenditures, 1981-1985; (3) distribution of AFDC collections, FY 1985; (4) distribution of total expenditures, FY 1985; (5) state and federal program savings, 1981-1985; (6) cost effectiveness ratios, 1981-1985; and (7) program activity, 1981-1985. Thirty-eight data tables are included which provide state-by-state financial statistical and program data obtained from federal reports completed by state child support enforcement agencies. Data is provided from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, all of which participate in the Social Security Act Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement program. The first two tables give a financial overview and a statistical overview; remaining tables are categorized under the headings of Financial, Cost Effectiveness Ratios, Caseload Activities, and Program Activities. Appendix 1 provides a glossary of financial and statistical terms and source of data depicted in the tables. Appendix 2 contains relevant regulations and Action Transmittals published in FY 1985.
