This volume consists of the proceedings of two sessions--"Quantitative Data and Research on International Migration" and the follow-up workshop on this topic--held within the 1978 convention of the International Studies Association plus an addendum of related research notes. The papers present immigration as a data-producing process yielding a wealth of information which must be centralized, analyzed, and disseminated. Jones-Hendrickson); (11) Issues in the Measurement of External Migration (G. W. Roberts); (12) Note on Limitations of Data and External Migration in the Eastern Caribbean (G. W.
