Presented in this document are nine brief study guides which offer advice and information about parenting to parents of infants and toddlers and which collectively make up the "Off to a Good Start" home study program. An information sheet on how to enroll in the program and receive these materials, which are sent to registrants approximately every three months for two years, is also included. The first study guide covers the newborn's first months; the other eight guides cover the baby's development in the following stages: from 3 to 6 months; from 6 to 9 months; from 9 to 12 months; from 12 to 15 months; from 15 to 18 months; from 18 to 21 months; from 21 to 24 months; and for 24 months and beyond. Each pamphlet provides, in addition to developmental information, a chart of developmental milestones for the period under consideration, and suggestions for developmentally appropriate activities.
