Data on credit course enrollment (headcount) and degrees granted by State University of New York (SUNY) institutions from 1948 to 1986 are presented. Data on headcount enrollment and degrees granted are provided for the individual institutions and institutional types for SUNY as well as system-wide. The enrollment data are for the fall term of each year and are arrayed by student load (full-time/part-time) and student level (undergraduate/graduate). The degrees granted information covers all degrees awarded over a 12-month period (July 1-June 30). Separate data are provided by degree (associate, bachelor's master's, doctoral, and first-professional). The following types of institutions are covered: university centers, university colleges, health sciences centers, specialized colleges, statutory colleges, associated colleges, agricultural and technical colleges, and community colleges. An appendix provides a chronology of dates of establishment of SUNY institutions. (SW)
