This review is designed for use by teachers, trainers, and administrative designers of instruction in word and data processing at the secondary, postsecondary, and adult levels. The 76 items included in the review are presented in a format designed to aid in the curriculum decision-making process. Descriptions of the curriculum products are presented on a single page to promote clarity, consistency, and efficiency. The chart format used in the review includes seven sets of related curriculum characteristics: source (title, author, publisher), delivery mode, profile (six graphs depicting the degree of an educational characteristic), operational characteristics (a brief narrative description), suggested prerequisites, administrative data (indication of copyright, cost, grade level, hours required to complete, National Center for Educational Statistics code number, number of pages), and readability. Items are alphabetized by title within two major sections, one for word processing and one for data processing. The name(s) of the author, editor, or product developer are included. Publishers' addresses are available in a listing of curriculum sources in word and data processing at the end of the review. A users' guide precedes the review. (YLB)
