Over 460 resources published between 1981 and 1982 are listed in this selected bibliography on the didactics of geography. Entries are classified under the following headings: (1) the didactics of geography as a scientific discipline; (2) textbooks on geography instruction and the didactics of geography in Czechoslovakia; (3) contemporary geography instruction and the didactics of geography in foreign countries; (4) educational and teaching objectives and the tasks of geography instruction; (5) geography instruction as a component of education at general education schools; (6) the educational teaching process in geography instruction with its gnoseological, psychological, and logical foundations; (7) the content of geography instruction; (8) didactical principles in geography instruction; (9) geography instruction methods; (10) geography instruction media; (11) organizational forms of geography instruction; (12) planning geography instruction; (13) the outcome of geography instruction; (14) the geography teacher; and (15) articles containing information on scientific geography. For each entry, the title of article, volume number, date, issue number, page numbers, abstract, descriptors, and country of origin are given. Abstracts are excerpted from 10 Czechoslovakian journals and from journals from Poland, the Federal Republic of Germany, the United States, USSR, Bulgaria, and Great Britain. English translations of titles and abstracts are presented throughout. (LH)
