The Subregional Training Workshop on Nonformal Environmental Education for Asia was organized by Universiti Pertanian Malaysia in cooperation with UNESCO-UNEP International Environmental Education Programme (IEEP). The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with IEEP's sourcebook on nonformal environmental education. This report contains resumes of the chapters of the sourcebook and suggestions for local adaptation of the sourcebook in the participating countries. Summaries are also provided on how nonformal environmental education programs are carried out in the countries of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
