Information Systems for Urban and Regional Planning: Asian and Pacific Perspectives.

These papers produced for a research project and seminar discuss from different conceptual, methodological, and practical perspectives the use of information systems to help improve the urban and regional planning process in developing countries, particularly in Asia and the Pacific. Schofer); (11) "Information System for Planning in Malaysia: The Case of KEVIS in Kelang Valley" (Johari bin Mat); (12) "Information System for Regional and Local Development Planning in the Metropolitan Manila Commission" (Elena M. Panganiban); (13) "Information System for Planning in Seoul Metropolitan Region" (An-Jae Kim); (14) "Information Systems for Planning in Bangkok Metropolitan Area" (Kiat Chivakul); and (15) "Critical Perspectives on Information Systems for Urban and Regional Planning" (J.
