Seven papers presenting recent findings on mathematics and science education are included in this report. Most of the papers deal with improving the mathematics/science instruction for minorities and women, and were presented at a series of seminars for the improvement of teaching math and science. Gifford); (7) "Toward a Mathematics Curriculum in the Form of the Core and Option-Modules" (Hiroshi Fujita, Fumiyuki Terada, and Shigeru Shimada).
