An inventory of academic programs offered for credit and learning to an academic award offered by Alabama's private senior institutions and branch campuses and private junior colleges as of June 1, 1986, is presented. For each college and program, charts indicate program titles, levels of degrees offered, and accreditation status. Included are summary charts of degrees offered by program, i.e., the number of programs at each institution by level (certificate, associate, bachelors, masters, education specialist, first professional, and doctor's). A list of accrediting organizations as well as abbreviations of degree programs are appended. All programs are classified in accord with the National Center for Education Statistics'"A Classification of Instructional Programs." The following private senior institutions are included: Birmingham-Southern College, Faulkner University, Huntingdon College, Judson College, Miles College, Mobile College, Samford University, Southeastern Bible College, Spring Hill College, Stillman College, Tuskegee University.
