The 1984-1985 annual report of the Planning and Grants Committee of the Council for Higher Education in Israel is presented. Reports by the Chairman and Director-General note budgetary developments, including increased government allocation to higher education; the imposition of an additional, temporary tuition charge; and the award of new professional academic degrees.
