Los Angeles Community Coll. District, CA.
Designed as an aid in evaluating the past academic year by summarizing and consolidating college and districtwide information, this annual report provides technical information about the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) for 1984-85. After initial sections offer a district overview and data summary, the bulk of the report presents tables and figures focusing on: (1) demographic characteristics; (2) attendance patterns; (3) student and enrollment characteristics; (4) instructional programs; (5) student performance and articulation; (6) student support services; and (7) fiscal and personnel resources. Highlighted findings include the declining numbers of students under 25 and rising numbers of those over 25, a 53.9% female enrollment, and half of the LACCD students reporting their educational goal as transfer to four-year institutions, with 70% of those expecting to complete an associate degree before transferring.
