This annual report presents narrative descriptions of the achievements realized and the problems encountered during 1984-85 by the nine colleges of the Los Angeles Community College District. First, a district overview highlights the imposition of a $50 fee, funding and enrollment declines, vocational instruction growth and development, recruitment drives, and transfer programs that have had impacts on the individual campuses and the system as a whole. Next, narrative reports are presented for Los Angeles City College, East Los Angeles College, Los Angeles Harbor College, Los Angeles Mission College, Los Angeles Pierce College, Los Angeles Southwest College, Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, Los Angeles Valley College, and West Los Angeles College. Each individual college report includes information on: (1) the college's mission, functions, and goals; (2) instructional programs; (3) instructional support and student support services; (4) community services; (5) administration and planning; (6) administrative/fiscal services; and (7) personnel services.
