This annotated bibliography on evaluation of sexuality education programs was compiled as a tool for sexuality educators interested in measuring the effectiveness of their programs or in learning what evaluations have been done in the field of sexuality education. Part I, Evaluation Methodology, lists 30 publications which deal with evaluative techniques and methodology which may be used to evaluate sexuality education programs. Part II is divided into two sections. Section A, Evaluations of Programs and/or Curricula, contains 23 articles which describe sexuality education programs and evaluate their content. Section B, Evaluations of the Effectiveness of Programs, lists 35 studies evaluating the effectiveness of specific programs as indicated by measured alterations in knowledge, attitudes, and practice. It is noted in the introduction that, where there is an overlapping of information about methodology, program techniques, and results of specific programs, entries have been placed where they would be most appropriate according to the main thrust of the articles.
