This bibliography presents a selection of books designed to enrich mathematics programs by providing sources of recreational and informational reading. Each book was considered in terms of content, mathematical quality, appeal to students from preschool through grade nine, and appropriateness of format to content. Descriptive annotations are arranged in alphabetical order by author, summarizing the content of each book, providing bibliographic and ordering information, and suggesting grade placement. The present publication is an outgrowth and updating of the Mathematics Library--Elementary and Junior High School, which appeared in four editions between 1960 and 1978. (JM)
