The report summarizes the projects conducted by 16 agencies in South Dakota using P.L. 89-313, which ammended Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Each of the projects is reviewed in terms of title; specific state agency; location; type and number of children served; project background, goal, and objectives; methodology; and evaluation. Projects include computerizaton of an educational resource center, on-the-job-training, preschool services for handicapped children, efforts to increase social and interpersonal relationships, an alternative to residential treatment via home-school services, reintegration of severely multiply handicapped students, and an attempt to improve the instrumental use of language through signing.
