This report provides a descriptive analysis of the types and numbers of degrees conferred by the 13 state and independent institutions in Arkansas. Data are presented on: (1) degrees granted and other formal awards conferred by Arkansas institutions, 1979-80 through 1983-84; (2) degrees granted by subject field and type, 1983-84, for both state and independent two-year colleges; (3) fall on-campus headcount of full-time first-time enrollees, 1980-1984; (4) summary of certificates and associate degrees conferred by college, 1979-80 through 1983-84; (5) general education associate degrees granted, 1970-80 through 1983-84; and (6) program titles of degrees awarded by each college, 1982-83 and 1983-84.
