These annual reports of Delaware Technical and Community College (DTCC) present information on the accomplishments of each of the DTCC campuses for fiscal years (FY) 1983 through 1985. Each report contains a departmental overview, an organizational chart, a statement of objectives for all divisions, lists of the year's accomplishments by division for each of the three campuses, and statements of the problems facing each campus. Issues highlighted in the overview statements include the following: (1) in FY 1983, DTCC was underappropriated $117,000 in salary funds to meet the demands of a mandated 7% salary increase, and was therefore unable to accommodate student enrollment; (2) in FY 1984, lack of funding continued to limit DTCC with respect to technology expansion, acquisition of modern equipment and maintenance of existing equipment, expansion and improvement of physical facilities, and equalization of salaries; and (3) in FY 1985, DTCC began to retain tuition which had formerly been remitted to the State General Fund, affording the college greater flexibility in the operations of technical programs, and allowing the implementation of the first half of a salary equity request to improve entry salaries.
