Charts depict such information as state totals by category of handicapping condition and program model; annual program growth since 1972 by number of teachers and number of students served; number of handicapped children served in self-contained, resource room, and itinerant program models; numbers of teachers of the handicapped in self-contained, resource room, and itinerant program models; in-state and out-of-state institutions; special transportation of the handicapped; educational placement of deaf/blind children; preschool incentive grants; and evaluation, diagnosis, and prescriptive program.
