This annotated bibliography is a selected listing of resource material for three specific areas of 4-H volunteerism: (1) volunteers serving as middle managers; (2) volunteers serving on a board, advisory group, or committee; and (3) youth volunteers. The bibliography is divided into these three categories. The material is subdivided under each heading into general divisions: literature (books, pamphlets, manuals, research papers, journal articles), training material, and resource persons. Each section is preceded by a matrix of highly recommended resources with those selections classified as to applicability. The individual entries are in alphabetical order by author and follow the American Psychological Association style. (The bibliography was compiled by a committee through extensive searches in literature, databases, and inquiries of persons knowledgeable in the fields of 4-H and/or volunteerism.) (KC)
