Vocational Education Articulation Project. Annual Report.
Suydam, E. Lynn
This project report consists of several parts. The first section describes the project conducted to develop articulation agreements in vocational education between secondary and postsecondary institutions in Virginia. Outlines of the project's phases are provided; these include development of mini-project funding requests, awarding of funding, technical assistance, and preparation of final drafts of articulation agreements. Project evaluation results and recommendations are given. Appendixes include lists of advisory committee members and their recommendations, documentation of mini-project funding and reporting procedures, a summary of articulation activities, and survey results. The last section of the document is a secondary/postsecondary articulation handbook written by Charles W. Curry. The handbook outlines factors limiting vocational education articulation, existing articulation problems, strategies for developing articulation agreements, and appendixes containing terms and definitions, sample correspondence, agreement plan formats, student records, and reference materials.
