This course outline is designed for use in teaching apprentice pipehangers how to use various installation procedures needed to install hangers aboard submarines. Addressed in the individual units of the course are the following topics: job preparation, job verification, material verification, weld preparation, fit-up, inspection of completed assemblies by a tradesperson, and presentation of completed assemblies to inspection. Each unit consists of a series of master lesson plans, each of which contains some or all of the following: lesson objectives, presentation guidelines, tests, student handouts and learning activities, and suggested references.
