Units cover career orientation, Future Farmers of America in horticulture, soils, general knowledge of plants, general safety procedures, horticulture hand tools, basic horticultural practices, small engine power in horticulture, identification and control of plant problems, safe application of horticultural chemicals, and horticultural business management. The cluster curricula are: (1) arboriculture; nursery operation and management; turf; and landscape design, establishment, and maintenance; (2) floriculture--floristry and greenhouse operation and management; and (3) olericulture, tree fruits, and small fruits (YLB).
