This student guide, one of a series of correspondence training courses designed to improve the job performance of members of the Marine Corps, contains three study units dealing with the skills needed by individuals responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of diesel engine-driven generator sets. The first two units cover installing, operating, maintaining, and keeping maintenance records concerning 700 series and Department of Defense series generators. The third unit is devoted to safety precautions and first aid treatment.
