This catalog and career decision guide provides information for students on the programs and services offered by Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) for 1985-86 and 1986-87. After introductory material provides information on admissions and the college calendar for 1985-86 and 1986-87, a history of the college and its educational philosophy is presented. The following sections provide information on student services including the student development program and other services for students; financial aids including grants and scholarships; and continuing education programs. The next section provides student status information on student classification, grading policies, withdrawals, scholastic requirements, graduation requirements, transfer credit, military service credit, and tuition and fees. Following information on student activities and organizations, the university transfer specialties in 32 fields leading to the degrees of associate in arts and associate in science are highlighted.
