Findings from a 21-item questionnaire of 1,087 Canadian public school teachers and administrators on 6 current educational policy issues are presented. The body of the report discusses results on each of the issues, and also presents the survey method and an overview of the population characteristics. The appendix provides the actual frequency of response for each question. The discussion of results focuses on the following areas: (1) quality of education; (2) funding of education; (3) teacher job assignment; (4) professional development and training; (5) special programs; and (6) teacher and public involvement in education.
