Participation levels for 1983-1984 for two student financial aid programs provided by the State of Alaska and one regional student exchange program are reported. Brief descriptions of these three programs are also provided: the Alaska Student Loan Program, the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) Student Exchange Program, and the State Educational Incentive Grant Program. In addition to data on participation rates for the programs, information is included on: loan award amounts, loans to undergraduate and graduate students, loan repayments, loan defaults, exchange fields, and WICHE program support fees.
