Using the Results of IAI DAta Base Analyses to Generate Educational Program Architecture.
Reneau, Gail; Milazzo, Patricia
This report describes the technical means for generating and justifying an educational program design via empirically-based analysis of Instructional Accomplishment Information System data bases. The conventional approach to educational program planning is to pursue design implementation first, operational implementation next, and then to hope that architecture can be induced following these two steps. The orientation described here moves the architecture design from the end to the front of the sequence. The method is illustrated for the area of language learning. (BW)
