This catalog was prepared for the Department of Vocational Career Development of Georgia State University as a supplementary manual to its recently developed catalog of courses. It is a survey of available literature on a wide variety of technical subjects formerly not included in traditional vocational or technical education in Georgia. Included in this catalog are capsule reviews of selected texts pertinent to the pilot high-technology program currently being implemented in Georgia. The topics in the catalog are grouped into the following 12 major categories: introduction to computers, digital electronics and technology, operating and database systems, programming languages and techniques, microcomputers and microprocessors, data communications, computer graphics, computer-aided design and manufacturing, robotics, controls and controllers, instrumentation, and advances in shop practice. Each entry consists of title, author, publisher, publication date, price, number of pages, and a short description of the text. A list of publishers and their addresses and telephone numbers completes the bibliography. (KC)
