Comprehensive information on Athabasca University, Alberta, Canada, is provided for 1981-1982. The univeristy collaborates with other institutions, notably the Universities of Alberta and Calgary, the Native Education Council, and North Island College in British Columbia. To promote understanding of the statistical data, a narrative description of the university and its operations is provided, along with definitions of terms.
