This curriculum guide consists of materials for use in teaching an advanced course in vocational agriculture designed for 11th and 12th grade students. Addressed in the individual units of the guide are the following topics: farm and agribusiness planning, employment-seeking skills, agricultural chemicals, and conservation. Each unit includes a series of lessons that contain some or all of the following: student objectives, a list of suggested teaching materials, a list of materials and audiovisual equipment necessary to teach the course, suggestions for field trips, student motivation techniques, a lesson outline, suggested student activities, study questions, and transparency masters.
