Child Mental Health Services, Inc.
School and residential therapeutic programs of Child Health Mental Services, Inc. serving schizophrenic, autistic, and emotionally disturbed children and youth (2-21 years old) are described. The residential components include a family unit home as well as a supervised apartment living program. Admissions procedures for the school program are reviewed in terms of the referral process, and admissions committee composition is described. The program, centered on a biochemical orientation, focuses on behavioral, communication, functional living, vocational, and functional academic skills.
