Women's experiences on the editorial boards of and as authors for education journals are examined and compared with their experiences in counseling and development journals and psychology journals. In all cases, women are found to be underrepresented. After a productivity comparison between men and women, and an analysis of women's editorial board and authorship experiences, a discussion of possible reasons for the discrepancy between the male and female experience is presented.
