Curriculum materials are provided for courses to be taught in business labs, including typing I, advanced and production typing, office procedures (clerical and secretarial), recordkeeping, accounting I and II, consumer math, and business law. Introductory materials include suggestions for setting up labs and a listing of required and suggested courses for proficiency certificates for various business department majors. Provided for each course are: prerequisites, credit(s), basic minimum competencies, optional competencies, and learner outcomes. Additional materials include assignments for typing I; assignments/units for advanced and production typing and office procedures (clerical and secretarial) that specify objectives, materials needed, maximum time allowed, procedures/directions, and grading; tests for clerical and secretarial office procedures; review sheets for filmstrips in secretarial office procedures; and time schedules for clerical and secretarial office procedures, recordkeeping, accounting, consumer math, and business law.
