Supplementary Tabular Information to Accompany the Research Monograph "Improvement of Secondary Education Through Research: Five Longitudinal Case Studies." Report from the Program on Student Diversity and School Processes. Program Report 83-8.
Klausmeier, Herbert J.; And Others
This document contains the tables that are referred to but not included in the research monograph, "Improvement of Secondary Education Through Research: Five Longitudinal Case Studies." The monograph reports on two middle schools, one junior high school, and two senior high schools that were involved in the study project, which included development and research activities conducted over a four-year period, 1977-81. It is noted that the goal of each school's development activities was to start or refine administration-organization arrangements and improvement strategies. The research activities, it is pointed out, had four main objectives, all related to development of the school's improvement capability. Chapters 3 through 7 of the research monograph give the research results, and, in each chapter, summary information is presented. The tables on which the summary information is based appear in this publication. This document contains 133 tables. The first numeral of each table title refers to the chapter for which the information in the table is relevant. (JMK)
