Intended for use as a resource in the planning and delivery of career education, this guide contains instructional activities for grades 6, 7, and 8. Materials are divided into the three grade levels. Each section begins with a listing of career education objectives and behaviors. Learning activities are provided that correspond to the behaviors within the six major groupings of objectives: basic work habits and skills; decision-making skills; interests, aptitudes, and talents; career planning; career clusters; and career exploration. For each behavior that is applicable to the particular grade level, a number of activities are described. Worksheets, survey sheets, sample materials, inventories, information sheets, handouts, tests, and/or any other material necessary to complete the activities are included.
