Study of the Teacher Preparation Programs of Tennessee Technological University. Report 83-2. Tennessee Technological University Teacher Evaluation Model--Year X.

This report contains the results of the 10th application of the Tennessee Technological University Teacher Evaluation Model and an overview of the previous reports on the model conducted since 1973. Information on graduates of the teacher education program is used for curriculum evaluation and long-range planning. In the first chapter, purposes and limitations of the study are discussed, and collecting procedures are described. Chapter II presents comparisons of second and third year followup participants who had received either the B.S. or M.A. degree. The third chapter presents and analyzes data for 1983 graduates and provides comparisons with 1980 and 1981 graduates. Chapter IV provides a summary of the report, conclusions, recommendations, and plans for the continuation of the study during 1983-84. Long-range planning proposals are also included. The appendix lists 68 reports and studies related to the teacher preparation programs of the university. (JD)
