Fall 1980 and 1981 data on the geographic origins of first-time students at the State University of New York are presented. For each year, four sections of information are presented. Section one contains summary data for the complete State University system. Total and full-time enrollment data for first-time students are presented for each type of institution and for each individual institution. In addition, a systemwide summary of the permanent residences of first-time students is provided. Section two contains tables for each institution that display the institution's total and full-time enrollment of first-time students and their county of permanent residence. Section three contains separate tables for each New York county. This format provides information on the number of first-time students attending the State University from each New York county, and specifies the State University institution in which they are enrolled. Additional tables indicate the institutional affiliation of first-time students from other states. Finally, section four provides additional data pertaining to full-time first-time student enrollment, including the high school status and age group. (SW)
